kiddk8 was a disc jockey from 1984 to 1993. During that time he played club and private dates across 4 states and was resident DJ at Rumors (Cape Girardeau, Mo), The Ebony Lounge (Cape Girardeau, Mo), The Taste (Cape Girardeau, Mo), The Purple Crackle (E.Cape Girardeau, Il) at different times. From 1986-1991 he was the exclusive DJ for Phi Beta Sigma fraternity at Southeast Missouri State U and Southern Illinois U (Carbondale, Il).

After time in the US Army, kiddk8 now produces various styles of electronic dance music and is heavily involved in promoting his own music, as well as the music of others, via the internet, internet radio and traditional radio.

Some people claim that kiddk8 usually needs to take a bath, but that is unsubstantiated at this time.
